26 Jun 2012 | Tuesday to 2 Jul 2012 | Monday   The international folkloric dance festival Op Roakeldais takes place each year in the town of Warffum, attracting dance groups from all over the world and an audience of around 25,000. Approximately 20 groups take part each year, bringing with them the dance, music, costumes and culture of their countries. Recent years have seen representation from China, Korea, Madera, Vanuatu, South Africa, Chile, Mexico, Slovakia and Bulgaria.
