Every weekday at 8:00 AM hundreds of students are on their way to university. The centre of this happening is usually in Central Station in Groningen. Speed bumps for buses at Zernike

Speed bumps have been put in place for buses heading towards zernike due to the increasing amount of traffic in the area. This measure will prevent bus driver from turning the roads into race tracks just because they have to arrive at a scheduled time.

Bus stops at Zernike temporarily unavailable due to construction work

From Thursday November 3rd until Friday November 11th busses will not stop at the stops Nijenborgh and Zernikeplein, the busiest stops for bus lines 11 and 15. This is because of construction work at Zernikelaan, where special roadblocks for busses will be made. Passengers from bus lines 11, 15, 174, 309, 504 and 682 need to get out at Crematoriumlaan, the first stop when entering the Zernike campus or P+R Zernike, which is the last stop.
